Holyhead Outer Harbour & Marina

There is an expanding marina within the harbour limits, together with associated facilities.
Holyhead Sailing Club has a clubhouse and availability for some 200 buoy moorings. A number of regattas and sailing events are held within the harbour confines throughout the year.
Additional facilities available locally, including services for repairs, fueling and provisioning of small boats, plus a range of other ancillary services.

Holyhead Coastguard Station is situated within the harbour, providing a designated Maritime Rescue Co-ordination Centre and has all the facilities associated with this role on site.

Within easy reach of the port there are numerous beaches (several of which have been designated European Blue Flag beaches) where many different water sports, including safe swimming, can be enjoyed.

Sea fishing and diving are popular sports in the area with many local boats available for hire.
